FAQs
What are the risks of breathwork?
Breathwork can be one of the most powerful and restorative practices you’ll ever experience — but like any deep work, it’s important to approach it with awareness and care.
Here’s how I hold safety in every session:
1. Consent & boundaries
Breathwork is intimate work. I’m trained and supervised in trauma awareness, consent, and ethical practice — and I take this responsibility seriously. You’ll always be supported to move at your own pace, and your boundaries are fully respected at every stage.
2. Breathing balance
Over-breathing can lower carbon dioxide levels, which may cause sensations like tingling, dizziness, or light-headedness. These effects are temporary, but I guide you carefully with pacing, sound, and tone to keep your breath balanced and your body safe.
3. Health considerations
If you have a heart condition, are pregnant, or live with other medical concerns, I’ll help adapt the practice for you — and I always recommend checking with your healthcare provider if you’re unsure.
4. Emotional release
Breathwork often opens the door to powerful emotions and memories. This is part of its healing potential. My role is to hold a safe, grounded space so that what arises can be met, felt, and integrated with care.
5. Altered states
During breathwork, your state of awareness shifts. You may feel expanded, dreamy, or deeply relaxed afterwards — so I always recommend giving yourself time to rest and integrate before driving or diving back into a busy day.
6. The science
Research into Conscious Connected Breathwork is growing fast. While the evidence is still emerging, early studies — and countless lived experiences — show real benefits for body, mind, and nervous system regulation.
What are the benefits of Conscious Connected Breathwork?
Conscious Connected Breathwork (CCB) is a simple practice — but its effects can be profound. Over time, it can help you feel more alive, more connected, and more at ease in your own skin.
Here’s what makes it powerful:
1. 100% natural
You’re working with your own body’s intelligence — no substances, no after-effects, no risk of addiction. Just breath, awareness, and presence.
2. You stay in control
You can pause, slow down, or shift your breathing at any time. You’re always in charge of your own experience.
3. Deep access
By softening the usual filters of the thinking mind, breathwork can help you access emotional truths, insights, and altered states that are often hard to reach through words alone.
4. Integrative by nature
CCB brings together insights from coaching, therapy, bodywork, meditation, and neuroscience — allowing change to happen across mind, body, and nervous system in one unified practice.
5. Always available
Your breath is always with you. Once you’ve learned the tools, you can use them anywhere — from moments of stress to times of reflection and growth.
6. Entirely legal and safe
There are no grey areas or external substances involved — just a direct, embodied way to connect with yourself more deeply
